Friends in a cosy living room follow Treasure Sea on the big screen — one points while two hold their phones close

A painted treasure map fills the big screen. Every crew has four ships — a Galleon, two Frigates and a little Dinghy — but only you know which is which.

On your turn you sail one ship and everyone watches live. Bump into another ship and the cards turn: highest number wins, but the Dinghy can sneak up on the Galleon. Pick up chests on the treasure islands and sail them home — a ship with a chest glows gold, so everyone hunts it.

Two teammates whisper and plan behind a phone while a rival squints suspiciously

How it works

1

Hide a mine

Every crew picks a hex on the phone. An enemy that sails into it: BOOM.

Hands hide a phone under the table edge, where a secret mine is marked on the sea map
2

Sail and duel

Move one ship up to two hexes. Meet another ship and the cards turn on the big screen.

Two face-down cards on the big screen while the friends on the sofa hold their breath and guess on their phones
3

Three chests home

First with three chests in harbour wins. Nobody is knocked out — sunk ships are back next round.

Two teammates high-five in front of the big screen showing a treasure island while the others laugh

How many can play?

Treasure Sea is played by 4–12 people in up to 6 crews — everyone on their own phone, no app. More than 6 of you? Sail in pairs and take turns moving. The host plays too.

Truly secret

Ship numbers and mines live only on the server and your own phone. The big screen never shows what it shouldn't.

4-12 players

Up to 6 crews. More than 6 of you? Sail in pairs and take turns moving.

Live on the big screen

Everyone sees which ship is picked and where it can go — and the drama when the cards turn.

30, 45 or 60 minutes

The host picks the length. If nobody has three chests, most chests wins.

Frequently asked questions

Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan a QR code and play straight in their mobile browser — no app, no login.

What does it cost?
$15.99 — one-time, per game.
Do we need to know the rules beforehand?
No. There are only a few: move one ship up to two hexes, the highest number wins a duel, and the Dinghy beats the Galleon when it attacks. The big screen and your phone always show what you can do, and after a couple of rounds it runs itself.
Can you cheat by looking at the big screen?
No. Ship numbers and mines live only on the server and on the crew's own phone. The big screen only shows a ship's number after it has been in a duel, and the mines are only revealed at the end.
What do the others do when it's not their turn?
They watch the big screen, where you see live which ship is picked and where it can sail. In a duel, everyone outside it guesses the winner — and the night's best fortune teller is crowned at the end.
Can the host play too?
Yes. The host runs the big screen and scans the QR code with their own phone like everyone else.
How long does it take?
The host picks 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The first crew with three chests home wins at once — otherwise most chests wins when time is up.
