Let's Party Games

The killer game

Who's the killer?

One of the guests is the killer. All evening.

Guests around a party table at night — one whispers slyly in another's ear while the rest laugh

When guests scan in, one of them secretly becomes the killer. The killer gets a victim and a sneaky task on their phone — get Lise to say “cheese”, get Morten onto the dance floor.

When it works, the killer whispers “you're dead”, and the victim reports their own death on their phone. The big screen posts the death notice and the hunt goes on. Think you know who it is? Accuse — but if you're wrong, you die.

Guests can snap a selfie when they scan in, if they like. When they die, they get their very own tombstone on the big screen with their photo on it. Switch on family-friendly tasks and there's no alcohol and no touching beyond a high five — so it works at confirmations and family parties too.

How it works

01

The killer is drawn

Everyone scans the QR code — and can snap a selfie for their own tombstone. The system secretly picks one killer (two above 15 guests) and hands out a victim and a task.

02

The evening's hunt

The killer completes the task on the victim and whispers “you're dead”. The victim taps “I'm dead”, and the big screen posts the death notice.

03

Accuse or die

Every living guest can accuse once. Right = the killer is caught. Wrong = you die. At the end the big screen reveals everything — and the dead get their tombstone with a selfie.

Everyone points at everyone — and everyone laughs

How many can play?

The Killer is played with 6–40 guests — everyone on their own phone, no app. Above 15 guests there are two killers.

Paranoia all evening

Who's asking a bit too keenly about your last holiday? The game runs alongside the party, not instead of it.

A tombstone with your selfie

If guests snap a selfie when they scan in, they get their very own tombstone with their photo on the big screen the moment they die. Optional — the game works just as well without.

6–40 guests

Two killers at big parties. Switch on family-friendly tasks and it works for confirmations too.

The grand reveal

The killer is unmasked, every kill is shown in order, and the night's best detective is crowned.

Frequently asked questions

Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan a QR code and play straight in their mobile browser — no app, no login.
How many can play?
The Killer is played with 6–40 guests — everyone on their own phone, no app. Above 15 guests there are two killers.
What does it cost?
$12.99 — one-time, per game.
What if someone cheats and says they aren't dead?
The Killer runs on honour. The host reminds everyone of the rule: if the killer whispers “you're dead”, you're dead — no arguing. Only the killer's real victim can report a death, so nobody gets “murdered” by accident. And if someone taps by mistake, the host can undo it.
Can kids join in?
Yes. Switch on family-friendly tasks before you start and there's no alcohol and no touching beyond a high five. Then The Killer works at confirmations and family parties too — it's about getting Lise to say “cheese”, not about hurting anyone.
How many killers are there?
One. Above 15 guests there are two, so there's still something going on at big parties.
Do we need to prepare anything?
No. Create the party and scan the QR code — the system draws the killer, the victims and the tasks for you. No app and nothing to print.
